Re: Where you ride at?
Villa Beach, Iloilo City - Just a 15 min jeep ride away from the city center. Its around a 5 mile stretch of beach. But the best spot to skim there is around the famous Tatoy's Manokan.
Place is very friendly for beginners since it has a very huge tidal flat most of the day. Ideal for inland skimming.
Jeepney fare to this spot is at P7.50 while a cab would be around 60 to 70 pesos.
Villa Rica resort, Oton, Iloilo - Around 20 to 30 mins outside of the city. This spot is only skimmable during low tide. Though more experienced riders can easily adapt to its slanting and rocky shoreline during high tide.
Jeepney fare to this spot is at P15.00.
Coastal Road, Dumangas, Iloilo ( going to the dumangas ro-ro pier ) - Around 20 to 30 mins away from the city center, this is a very scenic spot for flatland skimming since you have Guimaras island as your backdrop while you glide through the water. But beware of scattered rocks submerged around the area. It is advisable to walk and check the spot first before skimming it.
Oak Brook Beach Resort, Antique - This is the farthest un known spot ive been to so far but one of the most beautiful and less populated resorts ive seen. About a couple of hours away from Iiloilo, this resort is based in the province of antique. I dont have much details of how much or how you can get to the place since we took our friends car. But for those who wants to go on a road trip to this place, here the best i can do.
From "cholas", antique, take the road that will lead you to the jump off point for "nugas island". Do not stop in nugas, but continue to the next town. from there look for a resort filled with "mahogany trees". Oak Brook is just long the road, so you really cant miss it.
Boracay - Need i say more?

then u ask a person "as sri ang malayan beach resort" then the man ask and ituturo ang direction then ayon makikita mo ang mga skimmers sa talisay!!
