ALON is the website. ASC is an organization. Both are two separate entities.

There is a difference between the two. Seperate ang actions ng site admin at moderators sa actions ng club.


Kung ano man ang mapagkakasundu-an ng mga mods at admins, within sa boundaries lang yun ng website.

And kung ano din man ang plano ng club outside of the site, sa club na yun . Do you guys see the difference?


As for the "shirt", thats not the main issue. Of course, anyone can make a shirt. Marunong nga gumawa ng bata, shirt lng di pa? But the question there is the "use" of the name. A name is something innate to the individual who goes by it. As for this current issue, its all about intellectual property. Its not a question on who can or who cant use the name but an issue of respect.

I made this forum because of an advocacy. What is that advocacy? To try and unite all skimboarders in the Philippines. For skimboarders to learn how to respect other skimboarders regardless of where they come from or their social class. Not to control or anything, but just so as to let others know that "hey! we exist and we are as passionate as you when it comes to this sport."


Me and the mods before have talked about when this day would come. Way too many personal interests, too small of a venue to let it out. All i can say is this.

"Hindi nga ako nag benta ng anything under the name ALON before because i dont want people to think na im after money. Ngayon gagamitin lng ng iba?"


Seriously, think about it.

Again, money is not the issue, the simple gesture of RESPECT is.

Pera or advocacy?

Ako na prove kna for more than a year kung ano ang reason ko bakit tinayo ko ang "ALON". Ang iba na may mga "maitim na balak", ano kaya ang reason nila? Hmmmmmmmmmm

oo libre ang ALON na name.

walang may ari nyang pangalan na yan wala dapat pag paalaman. kahit sino magagamit yan. sa totoo lang. kahit di member, kahit mga taga-divisoria kaya gamitin yan.

ang yari ka lang dyan sa reality na maraming pwedeng magsabi na ALON sila tas mangupal ng ibang tao. isipin lang natin kung ano at sino mag rerepresent satin na mga member. aayusin yan ng mga officers, yung proseso na yan.


so okay, Plano ng ALON CLUB na gumawa ng ALON shirts. oks na yun. hiwalay naman pala eh.

And thats why alon skim club officers should address these issues. Remember, that with the formation of a club, there are also responsibilities.

And life, true... Agree ako sayo sa punto mo na mahirap eh separate ang dalawa. Ang site at ang club. Bakit "alon skimclub"? ksi na form yan dahil nag meet sila lahat sa "alon" na site. Logical right?

Now we come to the "name" issue. The site name is almost the same as the proposed club name right? Do i have a problem with that? No!

Dude, if you would diligently read all my posts, all im after is the retention of the word "alon". RE: I was the one who thought of using it for the site. thus it follows that it belongs to me. Logical right?

So lets say gagawa ang club ng "club shirts" like what you want, go talk it over with the ASC officers. Alam naman nina Gerwin at iba pa ang stand ko dyan. They called me nung meeting ng club a few weeks ago, and napagusapan na namin yan.



You know what, i see a bigger issue here though. Why all of a sudden a few individuals are asking where this site is going? Is it an issue ba kung free site cya or hinde? Before di naman to naging issue ah... Will the site affect your ride pag nasa beach ka? Will it help you become a better skimboarder?

Before, all the talks lng naman was about the sport itself. bakit ngayon ganito na? Is it because a few individuals are trying to pull strings and capitalize on the popularity and whatever influence this site has to make money or for those individuals to be know?

Going back to the name issue? Cant you just accept the fact that i was the one who started this site? Is it that hard to show a little respect for lets say uhhhhmmmm someone who tried to look for a way to get riders from all over the country to get together and talk about the sport? I admit that we are all equal here. Everyone contributed something to this ones little project of mine. All i was asking is for name retention. How hard is that? Its not meta physics....... That is my reply to the money issue arlene. I guess my actions for the past year has cleared that up. Did i sell anything? Did i get a cut from any sales that happened within this forum? I know the admins of a few of the biggest forums in the country and they have been telling me to get a cut on the sales being made. But did i do it? hehehe
