gusto nyo talaga mag climb? gusto nyo ba yung mahirap or yung fun climb lang? Sa Daguldol pwede din. para beach na pag baba..

Sa famy, Laguna.. jologs trip.hahaha..pero madami waterfalls

sa Mt. Cristobal takutan.. 3 hours na walang katapusan na tarik.. walang view.. sa summit lang

Uyyyy ok to vince, mgkano budget niyo dito? Un nga lang parang may kalayuan din at mahirap akyatin, pero panalo ang view sa taas.

nakow benguet yan 2,500 to 3K, major climbs na yan.hehe di ata kaya la training e puro inom!hehe fun climb lang vince! kaw na magorganize. GO!

conditioning.. .. kasi matagal, pero magaganda yung view!! panalo pa!

ito pala eh, maganda view sa Mt. Pundaquit..at least pwede tau skim sa san antonio or pundaquit mismo..mababa lang to dba?

mga 900 meters yan.. di naman gaano mataas.. mainit lang.. tapos pag umuulan delikado.. kasi lumalaki mga ilog doon..

mga 4-6 hours yung trek.. depending sa weather at sa init..

pero pag major climbs xmpre kailangan ng preparation di lang basta climb. Never ever underestimate nature! dami kasing pwede mangyari mas lalo pag mga major climbs at malay mo ung iba la pa experience sa climb tapos major agad.hehe

Ey guys... kapag di kayo makaka sama sa trip etong Holy Week... may open climb yung T.U.K.O. (Taga United Kami Ogag!) Wahahaha! Joke lang... ulet ulet.

May open climb ang T.U.C.O. (The united climbers organization) sa Mt. Daguldol tapos beach hits after. Alam ko Batangas ata to pero di ko maalala... post ko nalang ulet details para sa mga interested. Overnight sa campsite tapos overnight ulet sa beach. Uwi tayo Saturday ata before Easter. Update ko nalang to kapag nalaman ko na mga details.

BACKGROUND
In Laguna, there is a mountain that has many names. Some call it Mt. Calauan or Mt. Nagcarlan after the two towns it borders; others call it Mt. Lamot because it lies in Brgy. Lamot, and it may have been a mossy forest a long time ago. There is growing consensus, however, that this mountain, rising to 760 MASL, should be known as Mt. Kalisungan.

Japanese guerillas, at the twilight of World War II, made Mt. Kalisungan their last stand in Laguna. Afterwards, locals erected a white cross at its peak. It has become a local Holy Week custom to climb the mountain. Throughout the year, Mt. Kalisungan receives ample rainfall, and because of its relatively rustic location, its great charm lies in its serenity.

Verdant fields surround the slopes of Kalisungan. There are coconut trees, banana plantations, corn fields, citrus orchards, and vast grasslands leading to the summit. As one goes higher, the view becomes more distinct: directly in front of you, to the north, is Talim island with its Mt. Tagapo shaped like a young woman’s breast; you can also see Jalajala peninsula jutting into Laguna Lake like a ship, with Mt. Sembrano on its helm. Moving your eyes to east, the highlands of Caliraya appear. And once you reach the peak, you will be able to glimpse upon the seven lakes of San Pablo, flanked by Mt. Cristobal and Mt. Banahaw. Then, from a distance there is Mt. Makiling, to the west, completing the circle.
