how do you mount on your board?

its kind of confusing if one wud think how all the skimmers mount on their boards, some mount they kind of like "run" into the board instead of mounting it via "skipping" or "hopping" onto it..ive seen some pros in their videos pag wave ride they tend to run over the board a foot at a time but ive also seen some pro flatlanders they jump onto the board..i guess kanya kanyang diskarte ba talga? or theres a true and proper way of doing it? any insights?

i guess depende yun bro kung san ka komportable, as long as you can ride your board, just master it, tama ba?

i think it depends on the rider how he like to get a good ride on his board....or may be its on his/her style....

Kung san ka komportable, un na un bro..prang sa pagsusulat lang yan..kaya ka kanan or kaliwete kasi dun ka mas madaling ntuto or mas madali mong nkagaanan..ganun din sa skimboarding, kung ano ang mas madali sau, un din ang gagawin mo..other may see it difficult to ride, but that's they're own opinion...

thanks for the insight pero naisip ko when jumping on the board it can cause a somehow big deal of a drag there diba?

yes bro pero depende parin siguro sa takbo mo yun.. tumatalon ka nga sa board pero mabagal naman yung takbo mo wala din kwenta diba? pero kung speed run ang takbo mo for sure malayo ang mararating mo. IMHO

base sa nakikita ko sa mga videos sa youtube (ung biblya natin sa skimboarding dito) parang talon galing sa likod para mas efficient sa pagsakay.

ah basta kahit ano, habang nasasanay mas umaayos ang sakay. hehehe

yup ive read dis before it says do not hop but the pic shows as if he is skipping onto the board parang tumtalon/skip/hop din sya hehehe...well i ggues kung san mo nga mas mapapaless yung drag dun ka magsstick..

Same here. Back foot first. I run on to the board. Pero pag deeper yung water, mahirap. I tend to jump on to it. Its kinda hard to run when the water is deeper...even harded to run on to the board. What ya think?

pag malalaki ang alon, when i drop the board para ko siyang ipa uuna sa akin ng 3 steps then i'll try to reach it with my back foot first cos it will add more on your speed tapos pag naka ride ka na try to pump the board using your front foot to gain more distance..

pagka hagis mo ng board at bago ka sumampa...lagyan mo ng konting gigil para amplified ka sa momentum mo...wag na wag kang mag hesitate sa pag ride...
