What type of skimboarder are you?

cant know for sure man. well.. naalala ko may nabasa ako sa mag na wavehouse (poolwave) contest. syempre sali ung mga surfers at skimboarders. ung nagchampion si bill bryan, skimboarder sya. ininterview siya ng surfer mag, tinanong si bill bryan kung ung skimboarding ba ay surfing din. sabi ni bill bryan oo, tpos binalik nya ung tanong sa naginterview, sabi ng nginterview hindi. sabi ng naginterview na ung boogey boarding/ body boarding ay surfing din pero ung skimboarding hindi kasi wala ung "paddling factor" daw. i was so pissed off when i read that. damn. i paddle ko ung mga binti nila e.

nga pala. nagsearch ako sa youtube. may nakita akong uploaded video na title ay "surf davao 2 para sa arte nga choi boards nga bugo". maybe choi knows the story behind this. i understand the dialect and i think i know the message. the video contains a local boy surfing.

i dont want to start up a cold shoulder with the surfers here..not all of them are suckers.

eh tanga pla ang surfer na sumabi yun.... bka di nya alam kung ano ang meaning ng word na "surf"?

broad ang meaning ng word... and paddling doesnt make surfing "surfing"... its the action of moving through a "meduim"...
